Greetings from Oregon
Hello! New to forum, and to the JK's. After 9 years building and wheeling my 2000 TJ all over the place, it was time to clean the slate and start over with something that had more room, safety, and reliability (I'm sure many of you can relate). Just bought an '08 Rubicon Unlimited and looking forward to learning more about it from this forum in months ahead.
Unlike with my old TJ, I'm planning to keep this Jeep stock for awhile, and finding out what it can really do if driven carefully. I use my Jeeps for long highway drives, followed up by multiple days of backcountry exploration, camping, etc. and occasionally some technical wheeling around the Pacific Northwest just to learn and remember how to do it.
No mods planned right now except a few basics (Hi-Lift mount, floor liners for mud & snow, etc.). Might put a winch on eventually, and maybe a roof rack.
Looks like some good information here, and well organized. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum and the NorthWest Area. We have a few fairly active members in your neck of the woods who post fairly regularly. In fact, I saw your post about Hells Canyon before I noticed this one. It sounds like you already have a lot of experience with your TJ. I hope to meet your personally sometime when I am in that part of the state. Good to see another Oregonian on board.
