Thanks guys, I hope to be wheeling soon no matter what the JK is! The dealership that I always work with has a rubi for 26.5k, it has the tow package and its a flame red color. Never been a fan of that color but it might grow on me, question is does it have 4:10's or 3.73's because of the tow package? thanks! BTW, are the Rubi lockers better then aftermarket ones or it really doesn't matter with lockers?

 

A Rubi has 4.10 gears.

 

I did it! I bought a 09 Rubi!!!!!!!!! Red, Freedom Top, Tow package, 6 speed, 2dr. More details tomorrow as well as pictures! Thanks for persuading me to spend more money for the Rubi!

 

Congrats on the Rubi You will LOVE it. Like one of the guys I wheel with says, "Feed her dirt and Rocks and she WILL grow!!!!" I know you have to be stoked. Oh, and you better post pictures soon or you will be harrased for weeks

Heck, I'm in the opposite position... I've got a KJ, got my JK Rubi on order and thinking about trading the KJ on a WK or XK and then lift it and put my Rubi wheels/tires on it once I lift the Rubi.

I went lookin for a Rubi but when I saw the Unlimited X that was on sale for $19,888.00 I drove it home. It has a D44 rear with limited slip and 3.73's. In a year or so I will pick up a Rubi transfer case at pick a part or craigslist. I already found a Rubi front with 500 miles on it for $400 in San Diego. A lot of guys buy Rubi's and then build dream Jeeps leaving a lot of cool parts left over. I even got Rubi wheels.
