Hello from the Detroit suburbs
Well, I am not yet a JK owner but hope to be one sometime early next week.
This will not be my first Jeep; I have had two full-size Grand Wagoneers and about 15 months ago I traded in my 2000 TJ and bought a Mazda for going back and forth to Detroit with nearly everyday.
Well, I have missed my TJ ever since and after this week I don't need to drive downtown more than maybe once or twice a week. Then last week, God sent me one last sign that now is the time to get a new JK... HE TOTALED MY CAR IN A PARKING LOT!!
So, my goal is to go get one early next week since I should get the check from the other guy's insurance at the end of this week or early next week.
I am planning on a 2 door X. If anybody has any tips on something I should avoid or be on the lookout for, feel free to chime in.
