Default Hello from Eastern NC

Hello all... am a noob here.

Had a YJ for many years and let it go a few years back. I am finally back in a JEEP..... Am rocking the 2014 Sahara Edition. I am the second owner and picked it up locally from the original owner.

This girl is going to be my DD and I don't plan on doing a lot with the suspension. Probably going to keep it mostly stock.... Will probably do some cosmetic stuff... I am planning on building some bumpers and would love a roof rack... Something to carry my Kayak on. I really like the overland look...

I have spent a lot of time on ADVrider... I use to ride Dualsports a LOT... but not so much anymore. I still got the bike.. just don't have the time or the place to ride. Eastern NC isn't known for its offroad ADVentures... We got lots of mud... but not much else...

For the short time I have been lurking around here I have learned a LOT... The JK is a whole different beast compared to the old YJ Reo Grande...

This is my Old girl...

I miss the old girl.....

Now my bike is a labor of love...

Its a one off... WAY OFF.. home built custom bike... there isn't another one like her anywhere.....

I don't have any pics of the JK yet... Other than a drab pic of her sitting in the garage... kinda lame.

Well I guess this is my Intro.. Hope to see ya around the forum..

Welcome!, and congrats on the JK! We'd love to see some pics of it

I must say, I'm pretty stoked myself. Just picked up my first Jeep JK a few hours ago!

Happiest of new years!

I am very familiar with URE.... I have spent many hours on her trails.. Many times in my old Jeep and quite a few times on the KLR. Bad thing is that it take so long for me to get there from here... But.. I will be making some trips up there when it reopens this year.
