Default Hello from Eastern PA

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is kalen and im from the eastern pa area. I'm now on my second jeep. I originally had a 93' Cherokee sport with 4" lift, 33" Mickeys, warn winch, and KC daylighter roof rack. I finally broke down and got what I really wanted. I bought a bone stock 2008 JK back in April and have been upgrading since.

So far my JK has tire and rim package. Black Cragar d windows with 31" BF Goodrich M/T's, windshield mount Hella lights, Kevlar cargo net soft top replacement. I'm currently looking into lifts but I'm not sure what direction I want to go yet. I'm torn between 4" and 6" long arm. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Kalen

Welcome,

You'll find very quick that 6" long arm lifts are not very popular in the jk world since you can run 35s on a 2.5"

Huge lifts aren't a necessity any more and the lower center of gravity is worth keeping it lower.

Yea I have been reading a lot about JK's running 35s with no lift just 1.5" leveling puck and cut fenders. They seem to fit well with little to no rub.
I do want to lift it though, and go at least a 33 up to 35s. It will be a DD but 5-6 times a month off road. Any suggestions for an ideal setup that won't break the bank?
Thanks

Do you have a 4 door? My personal experience is with the rock Krawler 2.5 stock mod. It actually gave me close to 4" of lift in the front.

For reference this pic is of that lift with 35x12.50r17 tires.

Yea I have the four door, and i really like the way that looks. More than stock but nothing to radical.
