Hello From Ellensburg
so yea my names carson. im 18 and im not new to jeeps even tho i am yung. my dad had me off roading soon as i could touch the pedals. i however was the first to get a jeep. cool ppl drive jeeps so i wanted one. i LOVE my YJ i dont care what anyone says. im sure theres better out there but i luv leaf springs and square headlights lol. so yea i havnt had time or money to really get into moding it until now. so far all ive done is pipe it with glass packs(awesome on a 4cyl if u didnt kno) change my stereo, and make my own bumper(also pretty cool but not sure if thats legal). as of this exact minut im trying to decide on lift and tires. right now im running BFG all terrains on some 16 inch solid aluminum rims(more for street but they came with it). im thinking 2.5 rubicon suspension lift with some 31 by 10.5 baja claws on black steel rims. My YJ has a long way to go but any help from u guys would be awesome, thnx
I'm over here in Spokane. If you ever have a chance to get over this way, fell free to get in touch with me in advance. We have a 600 acre ORV park for one day fun. If you are able to stay for several days, there's always the Colville NF north of Kettle Falls. They havew 5 approved 4x4 (unmaintained Jeep trails).
Also, you may want to check out WOHVA - the Washington Off-Highway Vehicle Alliance at http://www.wohva.org. We are a state-wide organization for 4x4s, ATVs, and motorbikes encouraging continued use to off-highway areas.
We currently have a state-wide OHV area/trails catalog online at http://www.xmxpro.com/Catalog/catalog.htm . This is a "work in progress" that lists OHV areas all over the state.
Enjoy,
