Welcome

Where are you located? Maybe I can give you a hand sorting out the DW.

I think it's a bad lower control arm bushing, but I'm no mechanic. The jeep came from the coast so there's some salt corrosion. I'd really like to just put new lower control arms on it all together. Need to find someone who wants to get rid of their takeoffs.

Welcome to the forum... I was dealing with death wobble on the stock wheels, I believe because of imbalance, but since I got some aftermarket tires and wheels from OH9JK it has been nothing but smooth riding. I have read on other forums that it is hard to keep the stock wheels balanced... other people run nothing but stock and never have an issue. An option you have is to try bead balancing them(search the forum and you will find exactly what im talking about) but it will rebalance the wheels every time you start rolling. In the end your DW vibration has to start somewhere and usually your wheels are an integral part of that. Hope some of this helps... let us know.

Your profile says you are lifted with a 2.5" RC kit. Did you install this or was it on there when you purchased the Jeep?

I bought the vehicle lifted. From what I can tell it looks like all they did was the springs. I'm running stock wheels with 265 gy wranglers
