here is his story from another thread.

After a few months of convincing I finally got the go-ahead from the boss (my wife) to head down and place the order for my JK. After a few hours in the dealership the salesman informs me that my credit, (regardless of the $8k I was going to put down) is not acceptable enough to the finance company. I was ready to leave when the salesman tells me "However, we can put you in one of the 2 remaining 06 TJ's on the lot." B/S I thought but wanted a new Jeep, so I ran with it. Was actually a very nice looking rig, but just wasn't the

JK I had my heart set on. Well, 3 days and 600 miles later, this is what that TJ looked like...

While on my way to work some drunken a$$&%#! ran me off the road at about 45mph in the rain! Straight into (and out of) a ditch I went, turned almost completely around and right into an oak tree! The worst part is the a$$&%#! drove off before I could get his plates! (airbags tend to disorient you for a few seconds) After having it towed and talking with my insurance company for 3 days I finally called the dealership and asked who the title holder was so that my insurance company could write a check, and to my surprise they said they were! By mistake they had not submitted the loan paperwork yet. Then, mysteriously they managed to, not only pull a JK out of their rear, but also get the financing approved on it! (how convienient) I guess all is well that ends well, because now my Jeep is a Flame red JK

Welcome. I had no idea where Splendora was...I was like where the F is that? So you've given me the opportunity to learn and now I know.
