Hello! So I have been a Jeep addict for far to many years, it all started with my 84 Scrambler I bought from a friends dad. That Jeep drove me to a total rebuild of the motor, custom fabricating fender flares, bumpers, lift and many other additions. Which now has added to my addiction even more by the purchase of my 08 Rubicon JKU. It is bare bone stock but has already got me planning the upgrades. A few things in the near future are updating exhaust (outlaw kit from flow master) going to do a leveling kit, and throwing on some 33s. The rubicon is gonna be a daily driver along with mild off road use. Plans may change as they always do. Though I admit I was not a fan of the JKU for a long time but I now see the draw to this line of Jeep. I hope to learn from y’all and help the fellow Jeeper as I go through my project.
Now one major question for me..is there any factory failures that are common on these, I am already dealing with the lock issue and have the dealer I bought it from fixing that. So any heads up would be awesome.
