Hey everyone!
I've been reading the forums for a while and just joined. I have a someday project of a 78 CJ5 and I bought a 14 JKU June 20th. My wife and I broke it in on a road trip to Ouray, Co a couple days later on the 22nd.
Here's a pic as we headed up Corkscrew Gulch. The notch in the back left of the pic is Hurricane Pass. It was still blocked by snow and forced us back to Corkscrew on this trip.
Glad to be here!

Thanks,
Wicked, I've noticed several of us Okie folks on the boards.
LittleGreen, You're 100% right, jeeping is definitely and addiction and an obsession once you get started. I'm looking at leveling lifts now, trying to decide which would be best for me. I like the Rancho but the Teraflex look pretty good too. Decisions, Decisions! which to spring the cash for...
Bumpers too. I'm kind of liking the Barricade, I think it would look good! What's the thoughts on it's quality anyone have first hand experience with it?
Hmm, bluetru, nothing broke on my trip but Hurricane was a nogo due to a snow drift stopping our progress. You'll like Imogene, there are a few places on the Ouray side of the pass to watch your line on if you're not lifted if I recall correctly. It was closed that trip as well but it's definitely a nice trail!! Enjoy!
Jeepstin12, how are things in the east side after all the floods? Are they getting the trails opened up again? I def want to make a few trips in that area in the future.
