Default Hi From Far North

Barry is my name. Have a 2008 JKU Rubicon. Currently undergoing a 5.3 LT/ 8spd 8L90 tranny 2016 Chev conversion using a Motech setup. Doing the conversion myself with their kit. Jeep was originally a manual. Jeep should be back on road by end of July if all goes well. Lots of 4 wheel areas here but closes often during summer because of forest fires. Once V8 is in planning a trip to the Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyuktuk, NWT. Want to take a swim in the water. - bucket list thing!

Thanks Bob. Jeep is in a thousand pieces and hopefully motor comes out tomorrow night if son gets going to help. He better he gets my 4:1 tcase for nothing. Pictures to come. Only going with 2.5” Metalcloak setup and 33” tires but am waiting to see how much spring I need in front once the engine is in That lift height is all I ever need.

Barry
