Sweetest Day is a "concocted promotion" created by the candy industry solely to increase sales of candy. And to add to the ruse we also have "Made~Up~Holiday~to~sell~Cards~Hallmark" to belittle men into buying an ever increasing pile of smooshy, gushy, useless crap for the women they care about. If we dont buy the junk and do the whole dinner thing we are somehow worthless feks that dont care about the important people in our lives because some Mega-Corp didn't get enough quid on flippin valentines day.
