I dont really talk about it much, a few people know we do it, but that isnt why, and i wouldnt care if no one did.

I am also a Vet, I have lost way more than my fair share of friends due to how screwed up and brutal this world can be. I have seen a lot of it firsthand, it isnt a pretty place. I was lucky, I came home to hug my loved ones & watch my baby girl grow up, they where not as fortunate as I in that regard.

I do it for them, and the way I see it, they know it.
That is what matters to me.

I thought you were still welcoming me

 

That is a tradition that is very special to our family and my heart.
not a day goes by that i dont appreciate every step i take, knowing
somewhere, someone lost that privledge serving OUR country.
I only hope someday that every veteran is remembered, even if
the person who says thank you, dont even know them.

I pray every soldier past and present will be appreciated,
remembered, loved and respected..... by everyone... forever!

i have been very sick lately, so i havent been around...
sorry about that.

i do however want to let everyone know i have the address
for the recovering troops ...so if you are sending cards out this
holiday season maybe you could throw one or two in the box
for our troops who are hurt.
or even a get well card.

i think he should put that on the jeep and then give it to me. lol.
