Default I'm new

Just bought 2013 jk Sahara , 33's on teraflex 2 inch, fox shocks, 130k on road mall crawler only. Don't think it ever been off road, maybe a fire trail..glad to be here been reading a lot. I just resoldered rear view defrost tab to rear window. And it working..led on button on control panel doesn't light up, its not flashing. Just doesn't light up so I don't know when it activated, all other less work on the control panel,,so I'm thinking just a dead led,,which is odd, so,,I posted this under the appropriate thread , but it didn't show up as a new post,,so I just thought I'd add it here..any thoughts..ty

welcome to JKF. it's getting harder and harder to find nice JKs that weren't abused by previous owners, so kudos on that one.

You did respond to an old thread with that issue, so and that did bump the thread up under the "new posts", but in those situations it's typically best to just start your new thread. some of these threads are quite old and those members may no longer be around to respond, and it's more likely current members will pick up your new thread than dig through something that is really old. Just my 2c at least.

So, the rear window defrost is now working after you soldered it up, but the light at the switch just doesn't light up at all? that seems strange. i've never had to deal with rear defrost issues myself, but would seem odd to me that LED would have burnt out.
