to upgrade my axle shaft

RCV ( life time warranty)
Revolution ( Chromoly U joints - 10 year’s warranty)

What kinda wheelin' do you do? If you play in big rocks, lot of off camber situations where your steering is easily locked, the type of stuff that you want/need hyrdo assist for, then RCV shafts are worth their weight in gold. If you don't do that sort of stuff then traditional u-joint is likely fine for you. Here is something to think about. When you have the front axle locked and are sitting still, think how hard it is to turn that steering wheel cuz the u-joint is binding. When you add hyrdo assist, you sit there and turn the wheel back and forth at will. Adding a CV joint there instead of the ujoint is going to be very similar effect. If you don't have hydro or never felt it in the situation i mention above.....it's night and day difference. If you've ever been in a situation where your steering wheel has been locked in a direction you did not want but that was what the forces were dictating.....you know what I'm talkin bout.

RCV is a constant velocity system that stops the binding (bucking and jumping) when turning in 4WD. As what has been stated before if you simply do standard wheeling then go with U-joint style shafts as they are way less expensive.
