Hey,

I'm new to the forum but not new to jeeps. I had a 1978 Jeep CJ-7 that unfortunately I had to part with due to financial issues. I'm currently looking for a JK to scratch that itch again. Wanted to get on this forum to learn as much as I can about this model to help decide where I want to go with it.

I never thought I would miss a vehicle so much.

i was in the exact same boat as you..... 86' CJ7, 83 CJ7 then no Jeep for about 5-6 years and two kids later finally got rid of the mini-van and got an 08' Rubicon Unlimited. My favourite Jeep so far ( probably because it is new and not abused likje my CJ's were ).....10 more years and then i will pass it along to my First born and get myself another new one. Maybe they will have a Hemi by then

 

Welcome to the Forum! I went without a jeep for about 3 years and it was painfull, now I am back and loving every (wallet emptying) second of it.

Off topic, where in N. MI are you from? the UP or Northern Lower? I grew up near detroit but I have family all over the state.
