Default Just got home with my JK about 3 hours ago...

I ordered an '08 Jeep Green Rubicon Unlimited from AEV with their base package, upgraded to HID Spot/Driving lights, added the Warn winch, and used the 17" Argent wheels. Also got the grills on the hood/bumper painted black. These guys are awesome to work with. If you're sitting around waiting to get a JK Rubi, I'd recommend taking this route. I got to see Mowabb's (sorry if I butchered that spelling) JK in the shop... I must say it's impressive. Seeing pics of it was what kept me patient while waiting on mine to be completed. (Which I wasn't very patient... if you ask them at AEV, I called like 12 times a week... I'm sure they were sick of me, )
Anyway, I got the word that it was finished Monday, and proceeded to book plane tickets with my Dad. Yesterday morning, we woke up at 2 AM, drove to the airport at 3 AM (2+ hours away), flew to Michigan, talked with the guys for a brief second, and then proceeded to drive home... to middle Georgia. The Jeep started with 60 miles on it when I picked it up... and the odometer reads 955 in my driveway right now. I arrived at my house just minutes before 3... so the entire trek took about 24 hours. No sleep... all excitement (and a little caffeine )
Now I just need to be patient for the right lift and rear bumper... and of course I need to take some pics.
Oh, and I drove in the driveway, down to our "pond site" which was more or less going to be a playground for this thing, and was dissapointed to notice that it has apparently rained in the past few days. A lot. So no climbing around stuff for me at 3-ish AM... I did get it a tad muddy though.
Again I know, I need pics. Gotta get a decent camera first, then the pics will happen.
This is my first Jeep, and I'm definitely a newb to offroading. I owned a Tahoe before this and played with it a bit... but really didn't learn much. I hope to learn how to wheel the JK stock (suspension-wise) a bit before I lift it and start doing crazy things. I gotta start somewhere, so be patient with me, guys.
Anyway, I've been lurking for a while, but since I finally have my Jeep in my garage, I figured it was time to join. I've already learned a ton from you guys, and look forward to learning even more.

i want to see some pictures of this bad boy! When you get a chance come check out www.GAtrailriders.com . Its a local site im part of and so are some other GA members on here. Good mix of vehicles, some stock, some decently modded, some full rock buggies. We have a ride this next weekend at a place called Morris Mountain in Alabama. It would be a good chance to wheel your JK and see how it does. Come over, sign up and introduce yourself.

Congrats & nice color choice! Can't wait for the pics.

P.S. I think everyone on this site will get to see my Jeep before I do. And I can't believe you only called them 12 times a week..

Ok, here are some pics. They're just some poser shots in my parents back yard. I always hated that they just had these piles of stones lying out and weren't doing anything with them. Worked out pretty nicely for some pictures though...

I should've gotten a Jeep sooner... I'm loving this thing. My Tahoe wouldn't have even been able to do this little baby-stunt.

Edit: And thanks a ton for the compliments, guys. I guess I didn't reload the page before I posted this to begin with.
