The best thing us texans can do it move north.

what kind of temps are you observing? I think the biggest issue most of us have is we replace the factory bumpers and ditch that air dam, and in the process of doing so we alter the optimal low pressure situation for these vehicles, creating a big headache for us. we don't do ourselves any favors with all the junk we stick in front of the grill too....bumpers, lights, winches, bull bars, etc. I can suggest that aftermarket radiators aren't really the answer. i'm not sure an aftermarket fan is going to be a much better option.

I replaced the 194* thermostat with 180*. That dropped my temps by 12*. It’s not overheating, depending on my driving conditions. Hwy 215* average, idle, 203*, off road is where it climbs. I feel cooling running engine is happy engine. Makes me smile as well, lol. I’m probably gonna grab me a flex a lite can’t hurt. 650, a tad bit cheaper than the mishimoto. Hurts the pocket book a bit. I’ll keep you’ll posted!

I'd trade you temps! I'm pretty much around 222° on the highway. If it's just an offroad thing, do you have a programmer that can just force the factory fan on, or to high? There are times I will use my BullyDog to force the fan to just stay on high.
