MountainRubi - 2008 Rubicon - Now MINE!
I have been thinking of getting a jeep for some time now... did the usual dealership visits and test drives (kinda feel like it's my duty to get something since everyone is saying what a good deal they are). A local member of this board was selling his and since he is such an outstanding guy and set this jeep up exactly as I wanted (though I didn't know what I wanted of course) - how could I say no to this black beauty!!
2" OME lift, 33 Toyo's, Warn 9.5ti, Rugged Ridge bumpers, rock rails, AEV Pintlers.
It's got all the options (MyGIG, Power windows/locks, dual tops, yada yada yada) and I love it!
This is my first jeep - I seriously doubt I will be doing anything major as far as trails... but do want to go fishing and over some passes in my area, since I am mostly commuting to work and not taking advantage of where I live.
So - be kind... remember, it's OK to own a jeep and not take it to the extreme (at least on the first year of ownership! )
I got a chance to clean off the mud and take some pictures before it started snowing (April 26th and it's snowing like crazy outside!). That's one of the big reasons I got it, and the fact I can actually turn it around in my driveway (unlike my truck!).
I hope you like it as much as I do - but remember, it's MINE MINE MINE

Welcome to the site.
Don't worry. You'll find people here from all aspects of the Jeep experience. In Colorado you have the benefit of what I call the "destination" trails. That is, it's not so much about the off-roading as it is getting to these places. I really enjoyed that in my TJ when I lived in Colorado.
