Nellis AFB Rubicon
Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm out here in the wonderful(sarcasm) city of Las Vegas and after wanting a Jeep for 31 years I am finally the proud owner of an 08 Rubicon. What can I say about it that we all don't know--I'm in love with this Jeep! Weather is perfect now for top off driving and I've taken it out last weekend to get the first dents/scratches out of the way. I succeeded and was aboslutely amazed by the off-roading capability. I even found a couple of puddles to play around in. I guess I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I'm gonna keep it stock till I move to Alaska next year but will most likely get some decent floor mats and seat covers...maybe some rock rails and whatever else my wife will let me buy

Fond memories of Nellis AFB as it was my son's first permanent base assignment after Tech school. He worked in the tower in ATC and I made several trips to visit. He is heading to Iraq later this year. Thanks for serving, you make us all proud.
Hey, welcome to the site
always good to see another AF member around. I spent most of my tours in & around south east asia, but TDY'd in and out of Nellis/Luke multiple times but never had the opportunity to get offroad, your lucky!
Anywho, welcome abaord, hope you enjoy the site.
Hint: Tell the wife they are necesary safety enhancements
