New to 4x4
I apparently don't know how to post to a message forum. Anyway, I just traded my DD(Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8, LOL) for a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I am ready to get out there without coming out of pocket a whole lot. Not interested in looks, I am ready to get into the philosophy of offroading. I look forward to learning from you guys and getting out there and having fun.
Thanks
Thanks

If you are going to buy skid plates...plug it in and see what the reviews are! Bumper... type it in and you might even get a video on how to install it! Lots of information here that you can find without waiting for someone to answer! You also should check out the topics in the lists below in this forum...to find help on an idea you have for moding your Jeep!

. Usually the list of "wants" starts to pile up quickly. You have a capable vehicle even in stock form. Good tires go a long way to getting you out and about. Since you don't care about looks so much, I'd note any lift is primarily about accommodating the tire size you choose to run. Expenses start rising quickly the bigger and taller you go, as I'm sure you can imagine; however, this doesn't always correspond to the fun factor. Recovery gear is usually a good investment as well......ya know, just in case you get yourself in a pickle. Along with recovery gear itself, invest in learning how to use it all appropriately (Lots of videos out there on YouTube).Glad you took the time to join. We're a pretty friendly group for the most part. If you need help with a topic, just start a new thread and we'll either chime in with advice or point you in the proper direction.
