New guy about to pull the trigger....
So hello everyone...I am in the process of purchasing a 2007 jkX. Hopefully the deal goes through, I am just waiting on the guy to tell me if my jeep has the D44 rear axle. It has 4.10 gears is bone stock with the 6 speed and 66xxx miles. I have been a longtime fan of wranglers and wanted one since i was a kid. I have been through 8 vehicles and im only 26 lol. I dont know how a jeep hasnt been one of them. I have big plans and if this deal goes through I will imediatly be purchasing MB72 15" wheels and 35x12.50 bfg at xo tires bushwacker flat fender flares and a stubby bumber undecided on make and model. Well I have learned alot already from all these boring nights here in Afghanistan from the forum so thxs to all for posting.
Whats up!!!
Good luck on getting the jeep! Hopefully everything goes through. Im 23 and this is my 5th vehicle. 2nd JK. I love these jeeps. Theres no other feeling like driving a jeep. These things will just continue to amaze you!!! I traded my first JK after 2 years for a Toyota Tacoma... Had for a year and missed the jeep sooo much I traded my Tacoma for a 2012 JKUSport!!! like I said nothing like a jeep!
Good luck with the mods as well. I would also plan on getting at least a 2.5" lift to run 35's if your going to do any off roading. The flat fenders wont be enough for wheeling without a lift, but if your just driving round town the flat fenders should do!
