new guy from Plano, TX
Hey all,
Jon from Plano, TX here. New to the club/forum but not off roading in general. Owned a '76 CJ5 about 15 years ago and had to let it go due to $$$. Just purchased a new 2013 JKU Sport a few weeks back. I'm fairly stock right now other than the typical Mopar electronics upgrades. Fully believe that real Jeeps are built, not bought...and then broken and rebuilt again. Probably have to build this one up slowly as I'm easing my wife into the idea of the off road "lifestyle"...kind of why I bought the new model, to at least have some happiness at home since she doesn't yet understand the concept of buying an older rig and molding it into a beast. Also have to take her on a little puddle hopping trip to show her that the mud does indeed wash off before throwing her into the unbridled joy/agony of a good solid stuck.
