Just checking and saying hello. I am not a JK owner YET. I have always wanted a Wrangler and the time is close. I almost bought one this past weekend. A 2007 Sahara that was really in great shape. But we decided it would be better to wait a few more months and get into a 2011 or brand new 2012. So I am delayed a short time longer.

 

If you don't own one you have to leave......NOW!!!!

Welcome to the forum. Before you make your purchase you should test drive both the '11 & '12 and make your comparison from there. The 2012s engine and auto trans has changed from the '07-'11 models. I previously owned an '08 but after test driving a '12 I couldn't believe the difference in power from the new engine and the driveability of the new 5 speed auto trans. Fell in love all over again and placed an order for a '12 Rubicon...

 

2011s are looking pretty rare in my area. I think it will be hard to find one that will meet my specs. So likely, unless I find a used 2011 with a GREAT deal, I will be in a 2012.

I am a research and reader when it comes to huge new purchases. So I am very happy I found this forum and can gleen all kinds of great information before I put my money down.

Well, I placed the order for my 2012 JK today. It will be a Forrest green Sport 24s package, automatic transmission, soft top, Infinity speakers and uconnect pack. I think I Got a great price 2.5 percent below invoice. They think it will be delivered in about 6 weeks.
