Hey guys, I've had a Jeep for most of my life...first an old beat up Cherokee, then a YJ, and more recently a TJ. I spent a lot of time building it and ended up with a heck of a Jeep, but unfortunately it was time to move on. I recently sold the TJ. Im getting married soon and we need something a little more capable as a daily driver for the wife but I also want to continue doing some weekend trail riding.

Im looking for a JK Unlimited, used but with as low mileage as possible. Id prefer a Rubicon but I see theyre pricey and a bit harder to find, so Id settle on a Sport.

I know a lot about TJs but little about JKs so Im here to learn!

Well Im officially a JK owner...picked it up tonight. I was planning to go used but after test driving a 2012 with the 3.6l engine I was sold, and since they werent that much more than used 08-09s I figured what the heck!

I cant believe how lucky I was too, they had a Sport model with pretty much no fancy options, with a hard top and a very unique (and I think awesome!) color! Everything I was looking for. Heres my brand new Gecko 2012, has a total of 75 miles on it now. Already took it offroad a little on the trip home, so far so good! Now for the lift and 35s...
