Cool New JK owner from Arkansas...

Heyhowsitgoin?

I'm just joining as I've recently purchased my first JK and most of my interwebz googling leads me to this site...

Thought it would be a good idea to join up and contribute as I can.

Here's a pic of when it finally got home...

Only mods are a 2.5 Rough Country lift and shocks, the still-to-be-determined-brand winch front bumper, and black grille.

Thanx for having me.

Quick question as I haven't found the answer yet...

Do all pics post as thumbnail images?

I used the URL for the full size.

Just curious.

You should be able to attach photos. I recommend 1024x768 as that is a size that doesn't overwhelm most browsers when displayed

Ever down to Hot Springs check out the Hot Springs Off Road Park -on Face Book use to be Superlift. Some really nice trails rated 1-5 starting off very easy and 5 well that is another story.

Thanx!

Always wanted to check out that place...

I lived in HS for two years while in high school but I don't think it was around then; if it was, I'd never heard of it.

I'd really like to take a trip down there sometime this summer...

Put the JK through it's paces and see how much stuff I can break!

Also have a Polaris Ranger that might be fun to put through something more challenging than a gravel road or occasional mud hole...

So what's the "other story" about the level 5 trail?

I'm assuming a level 5 requires lift/suspension/bead locks/winches/etc. ???

Yes 5 does requires some items, check on their F.B. for everything needed. And should have another jeep with you at least. Even 4 you better have some things. No riding alone is one of the safety items on even a 3 and above.

Sounds challenging...

Level 1 and 2 easy enough for a beginner?

Yes and no trail damage. We take brand new jeep people on our club rides on those as they are good for learning how to use the right amount of power. Nothing more than 3-4 mph. Air down to about 18 or so depending upon the tires.

Do you have a limited slip in the rear and tires do make a difference on even 1-2 and if it gets a bit slipper from rain or so. It all takes time to learn how to do it for everyone.
