Cool New to the JK Site... BJOTF II

But no stranger to Jeepin'

Some from other boards may recognize my abbreviated handle
that came from BlackJeepOfTheFamily

I just picked up an 08' JK Unlimited Sahara last week (my Fourth Jeep)
mostly for my g/f, so it may spend its first year as a pavement princess.

Eventually a 4" lift and 35's will HAVE to go on
...but as you can see, I have a Garage to build for the new house first.

Full Load (accept MyGig)
Driver Convenience Group,Security Group,
6 disc DVD/MP3,7 speaker w/Sub
4 spd auto, Dual Top,Trailer Tow, Trac-Lok, 3.73's
Limited Unlimited (Canadian option) see spec below

also included in the deal (after grinding the sales manager)
Compustar Two Way remote starter ($800)
Heaters for the front Katzkin Leather seats ($650)
(canada eh!)

Total (before Tax) was actually under $30k

I tried to get my hands on one of these two years ago,
when they first came out but they were in short supply
and the dealers wanted a premium for the few that they had ($36k+)

a few pics of the new toy

early morning shot, dew on the hood (not flat black paint)

First, removed hardtop, and soft top (for winter storage)
then the dorky silver bumper covers had to go.

A few shots of the stock Katzkin Leather seats
from the Limited Unlimited group and the interior trim accents

Default more....

I've been a Jeep Jamboree TrailGuide since 99'
but retired just before we lost our land access, and Jeep pulled the plug
on the Jamboree program in Canada.

I traded Red in for a Dodge Ram Hemi QC 4x4 and a Honda VTX
..that I've enjoyed for the past 4 years...but the Jeep Bug bit
once more with the release of the new JK unlimited.

a few pic's of my previous Jeeps
(just so you don't think I'm too much of street queen)

My 97' Sahara
(2.5" Rancho suspension, 33" G/Y M/T's Stock Gambler Wheels)

and after turning it to the dark-side

My Last TJ, 01' Big Red
4" TeraFlex, 1" Body, BellyUp skid plate (22" clearance)
36" TSL Swampers for Muddin', 35" G/Y MTR's for Rockin'
4.56's Front and Rear ARB's, Warn HS9500i, RockCrawler Bumpers, Warn Rocksliders.
