I just wanted to introduce myself on here. I just picked up a new White, 2008 2-door X with a soft top. It has all of the options I want, and none I dont.
I am new to JKs, but not new to Jeeps, as I previously had an 87 XJ with a 3.5" RE kit and 31" tires.
I am looking at putting a 2.5" spring lift with shocks, along with some quicker discos. Im still not sure on tire size yet, as I have the 3.73, and know they are a little lacking in power with the 35s.

you'll be ok with 35's and 3.73's. It wont be fast but it'll get you by until you can regear.
You might as well go to a 3" lift for 35's.
