Purchased a new to us Rhino 2017 JKU Rubicon Recon a couple months now.

Welcome! That looks like a perfect blank slate to start with! So many folks buy things that are already modified and jump right into the nightmare trying to figure out what has or has not been done correctly, or more often incorrrectly.
