Newb...
Sup ya'll. I'm Curt.
I just bought a 2011 2DR Black Rubicon, well, my wife let me buy it, a couple weeks ago. This is my first Jeep, and glad to finally own a finely made American machine. Sitting in pieces in my garage at the moment is a '81 Land Rover Series III RH drive that I brought back with me from my time living in England, so I reckon I'm not new to the culture of waves, mods and trails.
I wouldn't say I am a hard core wheeler, I usually just need a rig that will get me to the next climbing route or campsite. I figured the Rubicon would give me what I really needed off the lot. The rest, for what I need, is just for looks.
Plans for my rig is the basics:
Rims
High Flow Intake
Winch
AEV Bumpers
Flat black Rubicon sticker
Flat black JK decal
Flat black US flag decal
de-badge
black marker and indicator lights
light guards
I'll leave it there for now...money and time is tight. (Says the wife)
Stoked to be here. My job keeps me traveling, so looking forward to seeing some JK stickers on the trails wherever my travels take me.
Any advice for the newb or stories are always appreciated.
