Default Newbie starting to upgrade

Hello everyone....Bill here wanting to start upgrading my 2010 Rubicon. Currently it's in the shop getting some high heels...in the form of a Rough Country 3.5" Suspension Lift. I am interested in feedback and recommendations on the size of tires I should consider. The Jeep is my everyday driver and I drive 60 miles round trip to and from work each day.

Hey Bill!

I'm new also but with all the forum reading iv been doing I'd think you would want a 35 with lots of flex room.. Or a 37with trimming or body lift or something.

Hope this helps.. I myself have looked into that kit myself. Looks good for the price. Good luck

Welcome! I drive about 50-60 miles per day, look into the Goodyear Duratrac tires. Last long, quiet, great onroad, great offroad.

I would suggest a good AT.

BFG A/T are great, long lasting tires. They're great in everything except for sticky mud. My lat set lated over 60k miles, and sold them for half what i paid.

The new Toyo Open Country A/T 2 tires have great reviews on here and have long tread life warranty.

Oh ya, 33-35" would be a good choice.

Here's my Jeep with 285/70/17 BFG A/T KO tires with a 2-Door's 4" lift. I only wanted between 3-4" of lift, so chose the slightly lower spring rate of the 2-door's springs vs the 4-door springs.

I would suggest a 35" for a daily driver. Just based on the look of a "full" wheel well. Personally, I think this is the size they had in mind when they designed the JK.
