Hello, just bought a 2008 JK Wrangler Unlimited X. I have always wanted a jeep and know really little about them. I have already started reading a lot of the post and found many of the threads really helpful. Although I still need help with one. I am 5'1 (yes, I am a girl) and the seats do not tilt forward, so makes it a little uncomfortable when driving. I have already read the posts about putting steal bar backs underneath the seats, but didn't find that very helpful at all. I have seen some post about the MasterCraft Baja RS seats that tilt forward but didn't want to spend tons of $$ if there is an easier fix. If anyone has the MC Baja seats what do you think about them? Any other suggestions??Click image for larger version

i think the only thing i have seen on that is people are putting washers or actually fabricating small plates to fit under the bolt point on the seat. other than that i dont see aything either. there is a writeup on it if you havent seen it yet

Yeah, I saw that writeup, tried it this weekend and didn't notice that much of a difference. I must be really short.

I raised my wifes seat/passengers seat.

Used two strips of 1/4" aluminum plate on the seat base. There are two sections to use it with full thread engagement. So 1/2" there and almost a 1/2" of washers with longer bolts under the back mounts to the floor to tilt it. She says she can see much better than before, she is 5'4"

Doesn't take too much. She was staring at my roll bar before lol
I did exactly what the guy from the "Front Seat Angle Adjustment" write up did. I used 2"x4" steel bar stocks from home depot. I actually used 2 of those on each side of back mounts and the seat does seems to not tilt back too much (more level now), but I still need it to tilt forward more.

You might try searching for a Seat back cushion that will allow you to sit more forward in the seat.
