Default NorCal SF JK Rubicon - Mogman416

I've been registered on JK Forum for over a year but it would never let me post. Thought I'd give it another try...it WORKED! 2007 2 dr. Rubicon Lots of mods listed in My ProjectJK. Mogman416 refers to my past owner ship of a 1973 Mercedes Benz Unimog 416.

My JK Rubicon

The former MBZ Unimog 416

My '98 XJ before that...my favorite!

Default Thanks!

The 'Mog was one of those things I always wanted so after 25 years of dreaming I finally bought one. It was refurbished before being imported to be a brush fire tank truck but then the department that wanted went out of budget. I picked it up and built up the back and other things. Awesome truck but Jeeps are more practical. I can get on the highway and cruise at 65 (sound slow?? The 'Mog cruised at 47 on flat ground only! ) with the air on and the MyGig blasting and then climb a trail to a great campsite. Plus I can use the vehicle easier every day. Repairs? All the parts for a 'Mog are readily available but $$$$$$$ ! I love that pop up camper and I see there are others here in the Forum that had/have the same idea. Enjoy your ride!
