Default Off road

Hello new member I have a 15 jk 4 door unlimited sport
recently went off roading. Went into some water now it’s make a whistling noise
any suggestion of what it can be ????

Can you be a little more specific. Are you talking about an engine noise? If not, can you tell what area the noise is coming from and if there are certain circumstances in which it's happening or not?

I believe it’s coming from the belt
i drove it pretty deep in water

3 years seems early for this to be an issue, but if you think it's belt related, the first thing I'd look at is the tensioner pulley. I usually think of that as more of a squeal vs. a whistle, but we all describe things differently. Easy enough to check to eliminate that as a culprit at least if you suspect it. If you don't know how, just need to use socket and breaker bar to release the tension, slide the belt off it, and then give it a little spin with your finger. It shouldn't spin much at all by itself.

About 40 sec in to this vid you see it. idk why they act like that is so weird....it's like that on almost all cars these days.
