Pennsylvania Tint Laws
I am new to the forum, bought my first JK (Black Unlimited X) in the spring. But I've been driving cars with 20% tint all around for over a year now.
So my girlfriend gets pulled over in my JK because of my tinted front windows (seeing as it is illegal, and this isn't a surprise to me, I knew this when I had it done). So I have to remove it within 10 days, or pay a fine. But let's be honest, even if i do take my tint off, I'm just gonna put it back on. So I might as well pay the fine right?
Does anyone know what the fine is for a first offense for window tint in PA?

well..if you pay the fine it doesnt exempt you from the law. they will pull you over again...fine you again. Then again untill they impound your jk and license.

It's just a re-occurring fine. I think it's around $129. But you'll have a target on your back from now on. Some of the cops around here in the small towns are actually taking razor blades and slicing X's in your window tint after being pulled over and ticketed. Not sure how legal that is, but it does prove their point that it is aftermarket tint.
