I was a jeep owner before and i left my wrangler for a fews years for a Raptor and then a STi, both were great vehicles just didn't suit me like a wrangler did. so a went out and picked up a 2014 Rubicon X 2 door. i plan on doing a mid-build, nothing too extreme because my intentions for this jeep is to teach my son (12 years old) how to drive a stick and pass this to him when he turns 16. By then Jeep should have a nice turbo diesel wrangler avail, and i would get myself one of those... as far as build intent

front bumper: (keep the factory X) mount winch plate and a Warn
Rear bumper: (keep the factory X) mount the swing arm once Mopar makes one
Fenders: Smittybilt XRC front and rear
Suspension: really just swapping the factory shocks over to Fox front and rear and steering stab
Performance: Banks CAi & Exhaust and Tuner
Lights: maybe a 20" rigid center of the hood, or the 50" up top, not both. or possibly just some classic Rounds
Tires / Rims: (Keep factory X rims) and maybe go to a 33" MT Baja Claw, should be able to fit with the high cut fenders

Then just regulars (Tint, locking lugs, craven stubby, etc...)

All and all, I'm so glad to be back in a jeep and thanks for having me!
