Default Smittybilt XRC M.O.D. Winch Bumper

Seeing a lot of questions about the Smittybilt XRC M.O.D. bumper setup. Here it is newly installed on my 2012 Rubicon with the X20 10k lbs winch (have the rear XRC bumber and spare relocator on as well). Awesome solid bumper and a real work of art...I get asked/complimented about all the time.

I've got a question for you.......how does that front bumper mount to the jeep- the standard 8 bolts where the stock bumper mounts?? Just curious.

It bolts right up to the eight stock bolt points...you just have to drill out two of them to 1/2 inch to accommodate the larger XRC bolts.

That's kind of what I figured, quite similar to other bumpers. I'd like to see if you add some other attachment points for the bumper to stabilize it on the frame so it can take a hit better (as stinger's are intended to do).

Good looking bumper and it's certainly hefty.

good looking bumper. I have had my eye on it for a while and was curious how stout the bumper is?

I have the same bumper I just run it as a stubby with the stinger. I like the stubby more and gives more clearance for rocks.

The bumper is pretty darn hefty and sturdy though. I like it. I had my eye set on a poison spyder one for nearly a year until I seen this one. I changed my mind and drove over to 4WD Hardware to buy it.
