Default The Tank Guy

New member getting back into a Jeep after a few years. My day job is running a firm importing / distributing long range steel fuel tanks for Jeeps, Toyotas, Land Rovers, Nissans, Mitsubishis and Merc Sprinters.

Just trying to learn from you guys.

Thanks!

Good question, still TBD. Going back and forth between used 4 door JK and new 2 door JL diesel, Sport or Rubicon.

We are North American agents for Long Range Automotive's fuel tanks from Australia - link below is a video of one of our tanks going in a JK last week at OK4WD in New Jersey.

Already have JT, JK, JL, etc. tanks on the shelf but working to expand the catalogue with JL 2 door models. Also working on certification from CARB to be able to sell them in California.

Either way, the new truck will be my daily driver, demo truck and tow rig for a small cargo trailer for shop visits and shows.

Thanks for the welcome!

And thanks to you, sir!

I learned to drive using a CJ2A a long time ago, but the newer rigs are a different animal, not sure I have much of value to share about the vehicles.

Vehicle fuel tanks - I do know a bit - as I have been well tutored by our friends and partners in Lilydale, Victoria at Long Range Automotive. I get over that way several times a year for business meetings, outdoor shows, videos and the like. Great friends and a wonderful business relationship.

Never been up your way but have friends in QL and its on the list.

Cheers,
Ward
