SALUT !! BRRRR!!! .. FROM OTTAWA..WILL BE MINUS-26c TONIGHT, JK IS PLUG`D IN.
HAVE BEEN DRIVING "JK" FOR 2 MONTH ,53OO KM ON ODO..
SOLD MY 97 TJ LAST YEAR,AND WALK FOR A TIME, BUT I`M RIDING IN STYLE..

You should move south, to nice balmy Niagara, it was a sweltering 8deg F (-13C) here this am.

Welcome to the board.


About two weeks ago we had a chilly spell and we were hitting -20 F and lower during the evenings. One morning it was -21 F and at about 5:00 am the power went out.

It's interesting when something like this happens and you suddenly realize you have no alternate way of heating your house.

Well, I suppose I could stack some up on the living room floor but it's gonna get a bit smoky in here.

We have forced air which uses gas to heat the air and electricity to push it. We don't even have a fake fireplace or stove to improvise.
