Default airing down to park?

We just bought a house and was moving everything in, my wife said I should put the jeep in the garage out of the way. Good idea. I start pulling in and she is yelling to STOP!!! I got out and looked. I have about 3 inches before I hit. And I'm only lifted 2.5 inches with stock tires! When I buy bigger tires should I air down to park inside, or fork out the money and buy a new garage door? Or my suggestion was to put a rock pile on the lawn and park there. The wife don't like that one. O the joy of owning a house...

Rock Pile!!! We always joke about that because there is no way that the jeep would fit in our garage which was built in the 40's.

Well, parking for extended periods with the tires aired that far down is not good for the tires. It can cause them to crack around the buldges.

Your door must be pretty short and not standard height. I have tons of room over my JK with my regular doors. Even fit an '07 4wd Silverado with a 3" lift and 33's into them (granted its VERY tight with that).

Is there more room if the door opened farther, or would the whole opening need to be made larger?

you'd be sick of airing down and up by the second night you had to do it. Totally impractical.

Default Rocks

Put lagre rocks on the lawn it will keep the jeep in a safe place plus keep the drunk drivers from bashing in your front room wall. The only draw back with that is cleaning up drunk drivers vehicle parts and oil spills.

Had my jeep facing going out of the garage, took off too fast and heard the scrubbing of soft top on my garage door opening, I don't have a garage door btw. Hint if your an inch or so from hitting, don't take off fast under the opening.
