Cool. Thanks for the advice. Ive decided to run it as an out and back on the 6th I believe. I see everyone is getting ready to run Rubicon, but if your bored, trailhead at 8:30
If I can get Friday off, I might be interested in doing this run. Although, I haven't heard of this trail. Where is it? What type of terrain? I have a capable rig, but I'm not into body damage or breakage.

Ive never done it myself. But from all the reads, its fairly easy trail other than alot of small rocks with some side trails that have more challenging stuff. The trail is south east of tahoe. Im bringing the whole family and my wife has never wheeled so im not sure how well this will turn out. ie i could end up needing to bail or take easy ways in/out.

I intend to camp up there the night before.. Assuming my new tent arrives before then.. Lets see how it rolls early next week. Id be bringing wife and 3 kids, 8 10 and 13
The loop of the trail that crosses to the hot springs side of the river has been unnecessarily closed for several years. Do not drive across the river - you could get ticketed and/or add fuel to the anti-access groups' firestorm against us. We don't need yet another trail closed, so don't do anything that'll give them reason to justify closing it.
