Bass Lake area trails...any?
Hey guys, I'm from SoCal and I'm traveling to Bass Lake for the 4th of July weekend...and I'll be staying for a couple extra days. Just wondering if there are any trails up there for some basic wheeling, nothing too crazy, just a couple of us going out with the family for a few hours.
I don't know the area that well, but my in-laws grew up in that area, so with some general directions I might be able to find the trail heads.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

4-5 Miles east of Oakhurst...just south of Yosemite National Park...30 minutes north of Fresno.

Shaver Lake and Bald Mtn are kinda far from Bass Lake. I would think they are about 2 hrs apart from each other. I am not aware of trails in the Bass Lake area, but I guess with some map or internet research, you could find some....or if someone chimes in.
Good luck and have fun!

Well just got back, and had a blast! We cruised up Beasore Road and just took a handful of little trails that shot off in one direction or another. We never strayed too far from Beasore, but had a fantastic time in some beautiful terrain.
I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area, or better yet, camp at any one of the numerous campgrounds and make a weekend out of it.

We were staying in a house on the corner of Willow Cove and Cedar. But I did see another Steel Blue Unlimited (very similar to mine) parked at a house on North Shore Rd.
