Good deal on tires and wheels?
This is what the seller is offering:
-- 5 Wheels: 17"x 8.5", 5"-127mm lug pattern, MB TKO Wheels
-- 5 Tires Goodyear Duratrac 315/70-R17
-- Comes with 2 sets of wheel caps: OEM and Chaos caps.
All mounted and balanced. TPMS sensored installed. They were on 2013 Jeep wrangler for 2 years and have 24,000 miles which mostly highway. I would expect another 40,000 easy from the tires. All 5 tires were rotated every 6,000 miles.
Seller is listing them for $1,100.
So I'm looking to upgrade to 35's by purchasing these and then do a 2.5" lift to accommodate. Any thoughts on these for a 2015 JKU as a DD and hopefully some good trail riding after upgrading?

I think your plan sounds good. I'd toss on a 2" spacer lift and try it out to see if the height is what you are looking for. I had some rubbing with 35's on a 2" spacer lift, but it wasnt horrible. A bb is less than $200. The worst thing you can do on a jeep is pay for parts twice. There is a big difference between a 2.5" and a 3" lift. Driveline requirements, steereing geometry, etc.
If you are dead set on a 2.5" lift. I really like metal cloak. You could even drive up to Rancho Cordova and pick it up (huge bonus in my opinion).
