Good Lord I'm speechless right now. Hey Ken, please let Mindy know if there's anything I (we) can help out with that she's got support here. Keep us updated with the funeral arrangements. I'll definitely make the trip out.

Man I can't believe this...

GODSPEED HAYWARD. Miss you already man.

I will post up more info when they let me know. Mindy would love it if a lot of us can make the funeral.

Wow... So shockingly sad. My heart goes out to his family. Hayward was my first wheeling friend long ago. Circumstances eventually had me gravitate away from JKF until recently where I got to see and catch up with him this January. Especially glad that opportunity arose. Great, great individual.

I did not know him personally, but it is always sad when we lose one of our own. My thoughts and prayers are with all the friends and family.

Horrible horrible news. Hayward was one of the first guys I met wheeling and he was always willing to go out of his way to help anyone in need. He'd lend a hand, a pull, a welding rod, or just some friendly ribbing to put you just a little out of your comfort zone. . I was looking through some old photos and found a couple of him nursing me along in the trench back in the almost stock days. Seemed fitting to post.

So sad, I only had the pleasure of meeting and wheeling with him once. Great guy. RIP my friend.

Default sad good by to a fallen soldier

I only got to meet Hayward once last weekend at Hollister hills. He seemed like a great guy, sad to see you go so early. Thank you for your service to our country and my god be with your wife and kids. Hope you are wheeling on the other side.

I am in shock right now. Please convey my condolences to Mindy and I hope she heals from her physical injuries quickly. I remember the first time I met Hayward at the 4 wheel parts show and meet and greet, and got to wheel with him at Hollister a few times. You will be missed, so glad I got to see you a couple weeks ago.

Speechless right now, met Hayward & Mindy on the NORCAL meets SOCAL Rubicon run he led and organized last year. A really great guy, let Mindy know if there is anything that those of us in SOCAL can do to just let us know.
