So we finally got some snow in the sierras. Lets get a snow run going in next few weeks !!! Had a great time last year and figure we should get a few runs in this year. Let me know who's in ! Thinking on a Sunday in next few weeks.

 

I'm in, just let me know when! There's a bunch of snow a short ways up hwy 20. Here's a couple pics from last week goofin around up towards Truckee. (before the heavy snow came in)

 

I'm thinking up Wentworth springs road out of Georgetown. Paved road, but a challenge with a few feet of snow.

 

We are all going to the Cal4wheelers Snow Fest up in Grass Valley the weekend of Jan 11-13. Just google it and you can get the info. We are all staying 2 nights in Grass Valley at the Best Western. Should be an awesome weekend!

 

We have a run on 1/1 by grass valley. This run is more mild as ther will be a couple of lightly modified rigs going. This is also a break in run for my jeep. It should be a fun day

 

Myself and a couple local friends will be doing a couple of the same routes as you guys for the winter fun fest. Being local up here, we didn't want to pay for all the extras, but we're hoping to do the snow run out of little town of Washington around the same time as all you guys. Kinda like tag alongs. I don't remember what the cal4wheel calls this route, but we did it 4 days ago after heavy snow and it was a blast. Hopefully we get more snow here before the 11th-13th for some fresh runs!
