How many hours to drive straight + handful of pit stops?

edit: quick search about 14 hours straight + 1-2hrs for stops / eating / piss breaks......not as bad as I thought

We left Moab at about 8am, go to Reno at midnight, but we also made some detours, like a quick pass through Arches National park and the Colorado boarder. Then made the rest of the trip home the next day. Driving through the salt flats was kind of rough. The wind was fierce, the computer said we were averaging 9 mpg I didn't take the time to measure the actual, but we did have to fill up often lol.

A couple years ago through the salt flats we had that wind plus snow! It can be wicked.

We leave Bay Area at 3pm and drive all night. Arrive Moab around 6:30 am. Going home were doing 50 through the middle just to break up the monotony
