Rockhard I believe. It's been sitting at 4-wheelparts for a month, and I finally have time to go get it..

It's a cover up skid, meaning I can still keep my factory one on so I'll have some extra protection.

Cool, that is the one i have. It is super thick and goes right over the factory skid.

Is your OEM one pretty battered up? Mine is. How thick is the new one and how much weight does it add?

When you're installing it remember that a full gas tank weighs over 200 lbs.

I learned the "keep the gas tank as close to empy as possible" lesson with a previous jeep. Thanks for the reminder!

The skid feels about 60lbs. I think it is 3/16 but also goes over the factory skid so its even stronger. My factory skid took a beating on my Rubicon trip so I vowed I wouldn't run more hard stuff until the new protection is on. Goes on tomorrow!

On Sat I'll be installing some Bushwacker Flat Fenders and getting some new tread. Going with Goodyear MTR w/Kevlar in size 37. Just might have to air them down a little to get out of the garage when I am done. Oh well....

How low is your garage door? 37's shouldn't be a problem at all - especially with a JK. My JKU on 38's fits fine, even with the soft top on and the bows add at least 2" more in height.
