Yes, had I known of this sooner and how simple it was, I'd done it much sooner. In your wiring harness running next to the gas pedal, find the straight purple wire with straight light blue stripe. (there's one wire same colors, but twisted). Cut it, add wire to each end, decide where to run your switch, hook up each of the 2 wires to the new switch, done. Took less than 30 min. I used a basic off/on toggle switch. So worth it! The fact I have an 07 too, I'm not eligible for the "steering wheel dance" to disable. Good luck! I mounted the toggle just to the left of steering wheel above dash speaker.
