Play'n Santa for a friend, Need Help!!!
I'm gonna be the GREATEST friend ever and buy a buddy of mine a lift kit for Christmas. I found an awesome deal but I have one problem.............He has a 1987 Jeep Cherokee and I need to figure out what rear axle he has, because of recent interest I found out my choices are Either a Dana 35 or a Chrysler 8.25. I have never herd of an 8.25, so I wouldn't know what one looks like, Did they make any with D44's? I know this forum is for JK's but we're all in the jeep family, so if anybody can help me with any info my budddy would be very happy!!!!

If my memory serve correctly.
87 Cherokee with
pioneer edition/wagoneer/factory tow. Will have the highest chance of having the 44
8.25 are for 91 and up.
