REALLY wanted black or green....in the end went with silver for that EXACT reason....silver hides scratches VERY well.
and...yeah...its always that first set of pinstripes that hurts the most... after that...it gets easier
but...lets face it....there are still times...when you hear that branch squeaking slowly down the sides, like a serial killer dragging the machete across a table...that you cringe a little

ok...yeah...I'm a little bored at work

I guess small dents add character too? LOL. It's eventually going to happen. Those will buff out, it you want to.

I agree that small dents and scratches add character. That's why we drive Jeeps.

Mango was a good Jeep. One of the best vehicles I owned. Never let me down. Well except one time in HH she didn't want to climb a sandy hill...

Welcome to the world of jeeping. Its completely different than a sport or luxury car world. I used to wax my cars and vacuum them out and freak out when I get a ding or scratch. After owning a jeep, I don't really care anymore, heck I bought my 12' rubi last year, paid $43k for it and when I got home, took her out on a trail and pinstriped everything, both sides of the jeep, hood and hard top all the way down.
And I have only hand washed my jeep once and that was 2 weeks ago and vaccumed it the first time ever last weekend cuz i had sand 1" thick on the seats, carpet and in the cup holders.

ITS A JEEP THING

I'll never understand this. The scratches on the undercarriage are ok to me, rims can't be avoided unless its a pavement pounder. Bumpers meh. The rest hurts my feelings on my rig :( lol
